Scope of Work

  • Boiler Installation: Installed a Vaillant ecoTEC Plus system boiler for efficient, dependable heating.

  • Water Pressure Boosting: Fitted a Duty Point Scuba Tank to ensure stable, boosted water pressure throughout the property.

  • Hot Water System: Installed a 300L Duty Point unvented hot water cylinder for powerful, consistent hot water delivery.

  • Underfloor Heating: Fitted a Maincor UFH system across the ground floor for discreet, evenly distributed warmth.

  • Radiators: Installed Castrad cast-iron radiators across upper floors for responsive and comfortable heating.

  • Bathrooms: Completed full plumbing installations for three luxury bathrooms with concealed pipework, rainfall showers, and high-end sanitaryware.

  • Kitchen & Utility: Installed all hot, cold, and waste pipework including appliance connections, filtration, and fixtures.

  • Pipework: All pipework installed in copper using the Geberit Mapress fitting system for precision and longevity.

  • Drainage: Installed above-ground drainage and soil stacks using high-grade fittings for efficient waste management.

  • System Commissioning: Full system testing, balancing, and client handover to manufacturer standards.

The Process

1. Design & Planning

  • We worked closely with the builder and interior designer to create an integrated heating and plumbing layout that balanced performance with design aesthetics.
    Detailed heat loss and water flow calculations were completed to correctly size all equipment, ensuring even heating and consistent pressure across the property.

2. Installation

  • Installed the Vaillant ecoTEC Plus system boiler with fully zoned heating controls.

  • Integrated the Duty Point Scuba Tank and 300L unvented cylinder for reliable, high-pressure hot water.

  • Laid Maincor UFH pipework on the ground floor prior to screeding for an efficient, invisible heat source.

  • Mounted Castrad cast-iron radiators on upper levels for traditional styling and lasting performance.

  • Completed all first-fix plumbing in copper with Geberit Mapress fittings for a precision, leak-free system.

  • Installed above-ground drainage runs and soil stacks to Building Regulation standards.

  • Completed bathroom, kitchen, and utility installations with premium brassware and concealed services.

3. Testing & Handover

  • All systems were pressure-tested, flushed, and commissioned in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
    The client received a comprehensive handover covering system controls, thermostats, and maintenance guidance.

Challenges & Solutions



Water Pressure Across Multiple Floors:

To maintain balanced pressure and flow across three bathrooms, a Duty Point Scuba Tank and unvented cylinder were integrated — ensuring high, stable performance during peak demand.

Precision Copper Pipework:

The client requested an all-copper system for durability and visual neatness. The Geberit Mapress system enabled a flawless, efficient installation with long-term reliability.

Space Planning:

Compact plant spaces required careful system design to keep the boiler, cylinder, and boosting system accessible while maintaining an uncluttered finish.
