The Parkmead project required a full replacement of the property’s outdated plumbing and heating systems.

deliver a powerful yet efficient setup that provides balanced heating, high-pressure hot water, and flexible, modern control across multiple zones.

Scope of Work

Boiler Installation: Supplied & installed a Vaillant ecoTEC Plus system boiler for reliable, high-efficiency heating.

Water Pressure Boosting: Fitted a Duty Point Scuba Tank to ensure stable, boosted water pressure throughout the property.

Hot Water System: Installed a 300 L Oso Sigma F1 unvented cylinder delivering strong, consistent hot water to all outlets.

Underfloor Heating: Installed a Snug UFH overboard system on the ground floors for even, efficient heating and a clean finish.

Radiators: Fitted 15 Castrad cast-iron radiators, each connected via manifold-fed circuits for individual room control.

Bathrooms & Kitchen: Completed full plumbing installations for two bathrooms and the kitchen, including concealed pipework and premium fixtures.

System Commissioning: Full testing, balancing, and handover completed to manufacturer standards.

The Process

Working with the homeowner and main contractor, we developed a comprehensive design that balanced performance with aesthetics.
Heat-loss and flow-rate calculations were completed to correctly size the boiler, cylinder, and heating circuits, while manifold zoning ensured maximum control and efficiency.

1. Installation

nstalled the Vaillant ecoTEC Plus boiler and flue system in a dedicated plant area.
Fitted the Duty Point Scuba Tank for boosted, balanced cold-water supply.
Installed a 300 L Oso Sigma F1 unvented cylinder to manage simultaneous bathroom & kitchen demand.
Laid Snug UFH overboard system across lower floors for discreet, low-profile heating.
Mounted 15 Castrad cast-iron radiators via radiator manifolds for independent control.
Completed full plumbing works for bathrooms and kitchen with concealed shower valves, wall-hung WCs, and high-end sanitaryware.

2. Testing & Handover

All systems were pressure-tested, flushed, and commissioned.
The client received a full demonstration covering heating controls, thermostats, and hot-water operation.

Challenges & Solutions

Precision Control Requirements:

The homeowner wanted individual temperature control in every room.
→ Achieved using radiator manifolds and individual valves for complete flexibility and comfort.

Pressure & Flow Management:

With multiple bathrooms and fixtures, balanced flow was essential.
→ The Duty Point Scuba Tank and Oso Sigma F1 cylinder combination maintained stable, strong performance.

Space Constraints:

The system was engineered for efficient plant-room use — compact, accessible, and visually clean.
