Client Goal:

create a main family bathroom and an en-suite, then add UFH to the Snug.
We coordinated plumbing, electrics, tiling, carpentry, and decorating to deliver a clean, reliable result with minimal disruption.
The design balanced modern function with the home’s original character.

Scope of Work

  • Plumbing Installation: First- and second-fix using Geberit Mapress copper crimping for durable, leak-free joints.

  • Bathrooms: Supply and install baths, showers, wall-hung WCs, basins, and concealed valves/pipework.

  • Underfloor Heating (Snug): Supply and install Snug UFH with digital temperature control for even heat.

  • Joinery & Carpentry: Bespoke vanity units; frameworks for wall-hung sanitaryware; tidy service access.

  • Tiling: Full wall/floor tiling, tanking, precision alignment, grouting, and silicone sealing.

  • Electrics: Lighting, extractor fans, shaver sockets — all to current regs.

  • Finishing: Plastering, priming, painting, and final detail to a showroom-standard finish.

The Process

1. Design & Planning

  • We worked with the homeowner to finalise layouts, fixtures, and finishes.
    Detailed scheduling ensured both bathrooms and the UFH installation were delivered on time.

2. First Fix

  • Concealed hot/cold and waste runs in Mapress copper

  • Frameworks for wall-hung WCs and basins

  • Snug subfloor prepped with insulation; UFH layout set out and checked

3. Second Fix & Finishing

  • Set sanitaryware and shower enclosures; connect controls

  • Commission UFH and verify balanced, even output

  • Tile, grout, silicone; install mirrors, lighting, accessories

  • Final decorate and clean handover

We used wall-hung sanitaryware and bespoke vanity units to save space and keep the look clean.

Victorian Fabric:

Older walls and pipe runs needed care; precise first-fix avoided rework at second fix.
