1.Renovations and extensions
2.Full heating system upgrades
3.New build properties
4.Replacing outdated or inefficient boilers
Boiler installations are rarely just about replacing a unit. Output requirements change, layouts evolve, and systems need to work alongside existing pipework, hot water storage, and heat emitters.
That’s why our approach starts with understanding the property and how it’s used — not pushing a particular product or rushing to fit something like-for-like. We take time to assess heat demand, system compatibility, and long-term performance before recommending a solution.
For clients planning refurbishments, extensions, or system upgrades, this level of consideration avoids common problems later — from uneven heating and poor hot water performance to systems that struggle as the property changes.
The result is a boiler installation that fits the project properly and continues to perform long after handover.
Choosing the right boiler is not just about brand or output. It depends on how the property is laid out, how it is used, and how the heating and hot water systems need to work together.
We start by assessing heat demand, hot water requirements, existing pipework, and how the system needs to integrate with radiators, underfloor heating, or hot water storage. From there, we specify a boiler configuration that supports the property properly — now and in the future.
In some cases, alternative systems such as heat pumps may also be considered depending on the property and project requirements.
Depending on the project, this may include:
Each option is considered in context — not offered as a default. The aim is a balanced system that delivers consistent heating, reliable hot water, and long-term performance without unnecessary complexity.
Clients choose Sable Projects because boiler installations are assessed properly before work begins, not rushed through as a like-for-like swap.
That means clearer recommendations, better system performance, cleaner installation on site, and fewer issues later. We plan carefully, communicate clearly, coordinate with other trades where needed, and carry out testing, commissioning, and handover properly.
For refurbishment and upgrade projects, that gives clients confidence that the system has been designed to suit the property — and installed to perform properly long after completion
We work on boiler installations as part of wider residential projects, where planning, coordination, and reliability matter just as much as the final result.
“Chris and the team are the only ones we trust on site now. Every job’s neat, professional, and on time.”
— Property Developer, North London
“From the first conversation through to commissioning, everything was handled properly. No guesswork, no chasing.”
— Homeowner, Finchley
“The system was clearly thought through — not just swapped. That made a big difference to how the house runs.”
— Homeowner, St Albans
Boiler installations are planned and delivered as part of a wider heating system — not treated as a standalone swap. Our process is designed to ensure the system is specified correctly, installed safely, and performs as intended once the project is complete.
1. Survey & System Assessment
We review the property layout, heat demand, hot water requirements, and existing system configuration. This includes assessing emitters, pipework condition, and how the system integrates with other services.
2. Specification & Recommendation
Based on the assessment, we recommend a boiler configuration that suits the property and usage — considering output, system type, controls, and future requirements. No assumptions, no like-for-like swaps unless they’re genuinely appropriate.
3. Installation & Coordination
The installation is carried out methodically and in line with the agreed specification. We coordinate with other trades where required and work cleanly and professionally on site.
4. Testing, Commissioning & Handover
Once installed, the system is fully tested and commissioned. Controls are set up correctly, the system is balanced where applicable, and clear guidance is provided on operation and ongoing care.
Sometimes — but only where the existing system is still suitable. We assess heat demand, hot water usage, and system layout before recommending whether a like-for-like replacement is appropriate or whether changes are needed.
Boiler selection is based on heat demand, property layout, hot water requirements, and how the system integrates with radiators, underfloor heating, or hot water storage. Recommendations are made following a full assessment — not assumptions.
Yes. Many boiler installations are carried out as part of wider projects. We coordinate with builders, designers, and other trades to ensure the system is installed at the right stage and integrated properly.
Yes. We assess existing emitters and controls to ensure compatibility and performance. Where changes are required, these are identified early and discussed clearly.
All installations are carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers and commissioned in line with current regulations. Documentation and certification are provided on completion.
For refurbishments and extensions, boiler planning should begin early — ideally before other heating or plumbing work is finalised. This allows the system to be designed properly rather than adapted later.
If you’re planning a refurbishment, extension, or system upgrade, we’re happy to review your requirements and advise on the most suitable approach.
We work across London and the Home Counties on boiler installations, replacements, and wider heating upgrades.
Start with a conversation — we’ll assess the project properly and outline clear next steps before anything is committed.
No pressure. No rushed decisions. Just clear advice and professional input.
